Warrington PA Woman Dies in Fatal Car Accident on Route 563 in Bucks County, PA

Authorities in Haycock Township PA are investigating a scary car accident on a highway that injured two people and killed one person.

The fatal car crash went down a short time after 9:30 p.m. on Route 563 in Haycock Township, Pennsylvania. A Warrington PA woman was behind the wheel of a 2007 Chevrolet and traveling southbound on the Pennsylvania highway when she inadvertently crossed over the center line of the road.

At that moment, another vehicle, a 2014 Chevrolet, was traveling in the opposite direction and headed northbound on Route 563. The driver of that car was a 48-year-old woman who resides in Hellertown, Pennsylvania. She saw that oncoming car some distance ahead and immediately swerved into the southbound lane of the highway in order to avoid a high-speed collision. However, things quickly went from bad to worse when the Warrington motorist also swerved back into the southbound lane, resulting in a fatal car crash.

The head-on collision caused catastrophic injuries to multiple people, including the drivers of the two vehicles and a passenger in the 2014 Chevrolet.

When Pennsylvania State troopers arrived at the scene of the accident, they saw mangled cars and debris all over the highway. The three accident injury victims were rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors provided emergency medical treatment.

The driver of the 2014 Chevrolet suffered significant injuries but was later listed in stable condition at the hospital.

The passenger who suffered injuries in the car accident is a 17-year-old boy who lives in Hellertown, PA. His medical status has not been publicly updated, but he is expected to survive his accident-related injuries.
Tragically, the driver of the 2007 Chevrolet, a 26-year-old resident of Warrington, was not so lucky. She was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at the medical facility.

It is unclear at this time what might have caused the Warrington motorist to lose control of her car and move directly into the path of oncoming traffic. Depending on the circumstances leading up to the car collision, it is possible that her surviving family members may be able to file a wrongful death action in connection with the accident. Additionally, it is possible that the driver and passenger in the other vehicle involved in the auto accident may be able to file personal injury lawsuits to seek compensation for their medical bills, as well as their pain and suffering.

The unfortunate reality is that potentially deadly car accidents like this happen all the time on Pennsylvania Route 563. The state highway runs primarily through the northern areas of Bucks County and Montgomery County, PA. Motorists who operate their vehicles on this highway should exercise caution and pay attention to the road at all times. In the event of a car accident, a driver or passenger who sustains injuries should seek immediate medical treatment and then contact a knowledgeable personal injury attorney.
